Obama to Pursue ‘Every Legal Avenue’ to Block AIG Bonuses [12:33 p.m. ET] For more on this and other breaking news go to ABCNews.com: http://ts.go.com/bk?bs=1&bj=42942840&bu=339196517&bt=170006430

Here’s what’s funny about this, if you are able to laugh (hysterically):

a) the Dems take over Congress and tell the American people the truth about that pocket-padding “war” in Iraq that took the lives of American soldiers who will receive absolutely no benefit from the sacrifices they have made. As a result of that, the Republicans make a checkered chess move to crash out Wall Street and run with their ill-gotten gain to Swiss banks. (Run! The socialists and liberals are comin’! And they will want their money back!)

b) Those who didn’t get out in time hold their employees hostage and tell the “government” that if they don’t give them bailout money, they will send thousands of currently employed people to the unemployment lines, thus sending America from a recession into a depression. The government gives in to the hostage situation and responds to keep employees in their jobs and how do they thank the nation’s taxpayers? By taking OUR money and passing it out in more CEO bonuses so that they can run and stuff our money into more UBS accounts that can’t be traced or taxed.

Why? Because the president is trying to “spread the wealth” back to the people to whom it all belonged in the first place?

And their point in trying to crash the system? Their dreams of a “new world order” have ended when they thought they had it all under their control. If they manage to crash out the system, President Obama gets the blame for it. However, the hope is that they run off to Switzerland with our money and the Swiss government guns them down in cold blood and decides to keep it all for themselves.

President Obama and his staff shouldn’t be in this fight alone. The People of the United States of America should file suit against them as a group and force them to not only return that money, but the other money, too. Then what?

Give $10k each to all of AIG’s hostage/employees, the people who worked for it, and tell them to go start their own home-based business or use their decent credit, if they have any, to use as a down payment on a franchise and walk out while they still have the chance and start their lives over before they end up in a soup kitchen.

I’ll bet that ‘revives’ the economy, with a quickness.

The current debate in Washington over President Obama’s budget has made one thing clear — ensuring our long-term prosperity won’t come without a fight.Partisan voices and special interests are showing real resistance to President Obama’s call for making the necessary reforms and investments in energy, health care, and education. That’s why we need to bring the conversation back into homes and communities across America.Last week, thousands of you pledged your support for the President’s economic plan and encouraged your friends and family to join you in a national display of support. Now I need you to take the next step. This weekend, supporters like you are organizing Pledge Project Canvasses to talk to people in their communities about this plan and mobilize support in neighborhoods across the country.Host or attend a Pledge Project Canvass in your neighborhood this weekend.

It’s absolutely crucial that Americans hear from you about this plan — we can’t leave this important debate up to a Washington establishment that doesn’t welcome change.

It’s up to you to show Washington that Americans are demanding this new direction and won’t stand on the sidelines while our country’s future is at stake.

On these canvasses, you’ll join fellow supporters in your community to:

  • Talk with people about the President’s plan
  • Ask them to sign their names to the pledge
  • Provide information on how to contact and urge their elected representatives to support the plan

Host or attend a canvass this weekend:

Nothing is more powerful than having people hear from ordinary Americans about the vision President Obama has laid out for our country. Join us this weekend.

Thanks,
Mitch
